Customer is a leading services based company in the space of Corporate Governance. Corporates with their growing business and looking for a better collaboration with board members and directors require a tool having collaborative workspace with file cabinet/membership applications, browser based document import/storage function. eBoard Room is a secure, online workspace used to electronically manage board book documents, meeting status, communications and private document storage. Authorized users can access the boardroom work areas and documents anytime, anywhere!
Challenges
- Member level access with defined privileges for different document catariges
- Maintain members status with respect to prior board meetings
- Maintain Expired / Cancelled meetings and related documents
Approach
- Developed a web-based solution allowing the members to track present and previous board / committee meetings along with their documents.
- For document storage and versioning EMC’s Content Management tool was used
- Developed a web Service for Documentum related actions using DFC and DQL.
- Member level access for different document Categories is achieved by developing a relationship between board / committee memberships and their related document Categories.
- Enforcing Board and Member level security allows the members to access their own documents and documents to which they have privilege to view.
- Keeping the members status in tact with date driven approach allows tracking member details as of the meeting date.
- Performance tests and Stress testing is done at higher than normal simulated loads. Load testing is performed and measured the response times for critical transactions or processes to confirm the application meets the required performance norms.

Matter Management
Customer is a leading document management, specialising in the areas of manage a centralized repository for their document, storage and backup services. Law firms with their growing business and looking for a better collaboration with other departments and vendors, our client reaped the opportunity to build an solution that fulfills the need of companies and the law firms to manage the documents related to the lawsuits. The application was build around data management solution of legal matter management, e-billing and documents. They envisaged an application that would allow for a seamless workflow between matter management, document management and e-billing system.
Challenges
- Mapping the Business needs to workflow between the matter, document and eBilling.
- Centralized access to documents for authorized users
- Designing customizable reporting tool for users.
- Managing the business process flow for invoice generation, billing and payments in the eBill module.
Approach
- Developed a web-based solution allowing customers to access their matters, documents and submit invoices.
- In order to achieve a seamless workflow, developed relationships between a matter, its related documents and an invoice.
- For document storage and versioning, used EMC’s Content Management. Developed web service for Documentum related actions using DFC and DQL.
- Developed a reporting engine allowing the customer to customize their reports between matter, document and invoice.
- Developed an e-billing module Comprise of a billing engine to upload / create invoices. Designed additional functionalities that would allow them to achieve the same in multiple formats such as text, XML.
- Provided a mechanism by embedding a link to their case document in e-mail their by accessing the document upon authentication

Client is a Building Products Company, a part of Corporation, is a leader in the manufacturing of Garage doors. It’s the world’s largest residential garage door manufacturer. Client has manufacturing plants in various locations in US.
Work flow
The major functions are Receiving work order, procuring material and disposition of material for processing the products at production lines.
Oracle ERP application handles work order and resource level. Manufacturing unit follow the work order and production processes. Once finished products are ready for ship, shipment process starts to load the truck and distribute them to customer.
